Biblical phrases explained by JST

Sermon on the Mount was a "missionary preparation" meeting. Matt 5:1, JST Matt 6:1 and JST Matt 7:1 all emphasize that the Savior was teaching His disciples and 7:1 introduces the things the disciples are to teach the people.

  1. Salt of the earth - was about His disciples as missionaries. JST Matt 5:15 (KJV Matt 5:13)
  2. Cast pearls before swine - was about missionaries being selective about what you teach the people. JST 7:9-11 (KJV Matt 7:6)
  3. Turn the other cheek - Don't revile or retaliate. JST Luke 6:29-10 (KJV Luke 6:29)
  4. Judge not - Judge righteously. JST Matt 7:2 (KJV Matt 7:1) and JST John 7:24 (KJV John 7:24)
  5. Seek ye first - Missionaries should focus on building up, bringing forth, and establishing the Kingdom of God - the Church of Jesus Christ on the earth - the cause of Zion. JST Matt 6:39 (KJV Matt 6:33 and JST Luke 12:34 (KJV Luke 12:31) and D&C 65:5-6
  6. Take up your cross - deny yourselves ungodliness and worldly lusts and be obedient. JST Matt 16:25-26 (KJV Matt 16:24) and JST Matt 5:31 (added verse) also # Ne 12:29-30.
  7. Whosoever will save his life shall lose it - Be obedient even if you lose your life. JST Matt 16:27-29 (KJV 16:25-26) and JST Mark 8:37-38, 43 (KJV Mark 8:35) see also JST for KJV Luke 9:24.
  8. If thy hand offend thee, cut it off - Stay obedient, do not follow others into sin or apostasy. JST Mark 9:40-48 (KJV Mark 9:43-47) and JST Matt 5:32-34 (KJV Matt 5:29-30) and JST Matt 18:7-9 (KJV Matt 18:8-9)
  9. End of the world - destruction of the wicked. JST Matt 13:37-42, 49-51 (KJV 13:38-41, 49-50) and JST Matt 24:4, 32 (KJV 24:3, 14) see also JST for Mark 13:9, 36 and JS-M 1:4, 31.
  10. Father forgive them for they know not what they do - specifically the Roman soldiers. JST Luke 23:35 (KJV Luke 23:34)
  11. With men it is impossible...with God all things are possible - How and why men can be saved - by trusting in God and not in their riches. JST Mark 10:26 (KJV 10:27)
  12. New wine in old bottles - JST adds new question about baptism that is answered by the analogy. The Savior also declares He gave the law. JST Matt 9:15-23 (KJV Matt 9:14-17) see also D&C 22:1-4.
  13. Sabbath made for man - JST reveals true purpose and nature of the Sabbath. Savior also declares He made the Sabbath. JST Mark 2:25-27 (KJV 2:27-28)
  14. Things hidden from the wise and prudent - JST "them who think they are" in other words those who are important in the worlds eyes versus those who are babes in the worlds eyes. JST Luke 10:22 (KJV Luke 10:21) see also 1 Cor 1:26-27.
  15. One shall be taken, the other left - KJV does not tell if the wicked or righteous are taken or if they are taken to safety or taken in the destruction. JST clarifies that the righteous are taken and gathered with the body of the saints while the wicked are left to perish in the cleansing of the earth. JST Luke 17:34-40 (KJV Luke 17:34-37)
  16. Evil spirit returns - The context of the story about the evil spirit returning after it has been cast out, is about those who deny the Holy Ghost after having received it. JST Matt 12:37-39 (KJV Matt 12:43-45).
  17. JST Mark 7:15
  18. JST John 1:28
  19. Isaiah 35:8

Contradictory passages resolved

  1. No man hath seen God - There are verses which describe people seeing God (Gen 17:1; 18:1; 26:1-2; 32:30; 35:9; 48:3; Ex 33:11; Num 12:8; Deut 34:10; 1 Kgs 3:5; 9:2; 11:9; Isa 6:1, 5). Yet other places state that no one has/can see God (Ex 33:20-23; John 1:18; 1 Tim 6:15-16; 1 John 4:12). The JST for these latter verses make it clear that man can see God under certain conditions and with certain preparation. Also JST John 1:19 teaches that when God is seen He always introduces His Son, a pattern born out in in Matt 3:16-17; 17:1-9; 3 Ne 11:7; and JS-H 1:17 (see also John 6:44). In Ex 33:20-23 it makes it clear that no sinful man has seen God's face and lived - a much different doctrine than the KJV describes.
  2. Death of Judas Iscariot - JST shows both descriptions were accurate but incomplete. JST Matt 27:6 (KJV Matt 27:5 and Acts 1:18)
  3. Angels at Jesus's tomb -  Luke 24:4-6 and John 20:11-13 describe two angels being present at the tomb while Matt 28:1-7 and Mark 16:5-6 describe one angel was present at the tomb. This appears to be a small detail compared to the testimony of the most important event in history. However, the record states that the angels were not there just to roll the stone away, but also to bear testimony of the resurrect Christ. In keeping with 1 Cor 13:1, two witness were present to His resurrection.
  4. Robe: purple or scarlet - The robe the Roman soldiers put on Jesus while mocking him is described by Matt 27:28 as scarlet and by Mark 15:17 and John 19:2, 5 as purple and by Luke as gorgeous. Joseph first changed Mark and John to be scarlet, but then later changed them back and changed Matthew to be purple with the note scarlet "is not right, it should be purple in this and all the testimonies." This gives us some insight on how Joseph continued to receive revelation during the process.
  5. Paul's vision near Damascus - KJV unclear about what others saw and heard. JST others saw light but heard nothing. JST Acts 9:7

Personality and Nature of God

  1. Jesus is Jehovah of the Old Testament - Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob all knew the Lord as Jehovah: JST Ex 6:3. Jehovah who gave the law of Moses and created the Sabbath is Jesus Christ JST Matt 9:18-21 and Mark 2:27. Also taught in the Book of Mormon 1 Ne 19:7-15; 2 Ne 25:29; and 3 Ne 15:4 and D&C 45:16.
  2. 77
  3. The Lord repented - The Lord does not repent. Occurrences modified: JST Gen 8:13, 15; (KJV Gen 6:6-7) Ex 32:14; 1 Sam 15:11; 2 Sam 24:16; Ps 135:14; Jer 18:8, 10; 26:3, 13, 19; 42:10; Amos 7:3, 6; Jonah 3:10;
  4. The Lord hardened their hearts - People choose their response (including Pharaoh) and are responsible for those choices. Pharaoh: Ex 4:21; 7:3, 13; 9:12; 10:1, 20, 27; 11:10; People: Isa 6:9; 63:17; Matt 6:13; JST Luke 11:4 (KJV Luke 11:3) The Lord does not do evil: Amos 3:6;

The Nature of Man

  1. Premortal Existance of Man - JST Gen 2:4-6 (KJV Gen 2:4-5).
  2. Little Children Innocent before God - JST Gen 6:55-56; (Moses 6:53-54; between KJV Gen 5:21 and 5:22); Matt. 18:10-11; 19:13;
  3. Age when children become accountable - Eight years old: JST Gen 17:11 (KJV Gen 17:7). This was revealed several months before D&C 68:25.
  4. Predestination - See section above "The Lord hardened their hearts" regarding people's ability to choose. People are not predestined to be evil or good, but are free to choose: Acts 13:48; Rom 1:6; 1 Cor 1:23-24;
  5. Carnal, sensual, and devilish - People become carnal, sensual, and devilish only after rejecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Note the sequence: JST Gen 4:2-9, 12-13; (Moses 5:2-9, 12-13; no KJV equivalent.)

The Nature of Satan

  1. Introduction of Satan - KJV introduces Satan in the Garden of Eden, while the JST introduces him as a prominent figure in the events long before the creation.
  2. Satan's rebellion - See JST Gen 3:1-7; (Moses 4:1-6; between the last verse of Gen 2 and the first verse of Gen 3).
  3. Moses's personal experience with Satan - Found in JST "revelation" placed before the book of Genesis verses 8-16 (Moses 1:12-23). Moses learns: 1. Satan has no glory like God, 2. Satan pretends to be the Only Begotten, 3. Satan tempts Moses to worship him, 4. Satan can be controlled by the power of the Only Begotten.
  4. Secret Combinations - We learn that Satan commands Adam's children not to believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ in JST Gen 4:13; (Moses 5:13). Satan also commanded Cain to make an offering unto the Lord in JST Gen 5:6 (Moses 5:18). Satan also taught Cain a secret oath in JST Gen 5:14-16, 42-43; (Moses 5:29-31, 55-57).---

Emphasis on Jesus Christ in the Old Testament

The JST describes the foreknowledge about Jesus Christ that existed from Adam to Abraham.

  1. Animal sacrifice, a symbol of Jesus Christ - JST provides information about the origin and purpose of animal sacrifice as part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ: JST Gen 4:4-9; (Moses 5:4-9).
  2. Adam's baptism - JST Gen 6:67-71; (Moses 6:64-68).
  3. Gospel taught to Adam's posterity - JST Gen 5:1-2, 44-45; 6:23-24; 7:1; (Moses 5:14-15, 58-59; 6:22-23; 7:1;). John 1:1 KJV only speaks of the Son, but JST speaks of both the Gospel and the Son were in the beginning. Adam becomes first witness of Jesus Christ, the first to be baptized and the first to offer sacrifices in token of the atonement.
  4. Patriarchs witness of Jesus Christ - Enoch JST Gen 6:22-7:78 (Moses 6:31-7:69), Noah JST Gen 8:11-12 (Moses 8:23-24), and Abraham JST Gen 15:9-12; 17:4-12 (KJV Gen 15:6; 17:3-7)
  5. The Plan of Salvation - Enoch taught the plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. This is not clear in the KJV and helps us realize that prophets have since Adam testified of Jesus Christ and taught the Plan of Salvation throughout the ages. JST Gen 6:49-65 (Moses 6:48-62)

Additional Emphasis on Jesus Christ in the New Testament

  1. Jesus is the Messiah - JST Matt 3:2-6 (KJV Matt 2:2-6) Messiah instead of King, Messiah instead of Governor. Premortal godhood: JST Matt 9:18-19 (added KJV Matt 9:15) Jesus gave the Law to Moses, JST Mark 2:27 (KJV Mark 2:28) Jesus created the Sabbath. See also 3 Ne 15:4-5; 1 Ne 19:7-12; D&C 38:1; 110:1-4. Jesus taught the Old Testament prophets testified of Him: JST Matt 4:18-19 (KJV Matt 4:19-20); Luke 14:35-36 (added Luke 14:33). Jesus can send angels: JST Matt 4:11.
  2. Jesus from 12 to 30 - Additional information about the time before Jesus began His ministry: JST Matt 3:24-26 (KJV Matt 2:23c)
  3. Jesus performing baptisms - JST teaches us that Jesus did baptize: JST John 4:1-4 (KJV John 4:1-2); JST Mark 1:6 (KJV Mark 1:8); JST John 1:28 (KJV John 1:27)
  4. Jesus knows immediately, not after some lapse of time - JST Matt 12:12-13 (KJV Matt 12:14-15); JST Mark 8:16-17; Matt 19:26; John 2:24; John 3:34;
  5. I never knew you -> Ye never knew me (Jesus knows each person, including sinners, but sinners choose not to know Him): JST Matt 7:33 (KJV Matt 7:23a); JST Matt 25:11 (KJV Matt 25:12a); JST Luke 13:25, 27;
  6. Disciples marvel, not Jesus, when miraculous things occur: JST Matt 8:9 (KJV Matt 8:10); JST Mark 14:36-37 (KJV Mark 14:32-33).
  7. Jesus has compassion even when physically tired: JST Mark 7:22-23 (KJV Mark 7:24).
  8. Jesus fasted 40 days to be with God, and afterwards is tempted (KJV fasted to be tempted of the devil). The spirit took Him to the temple and high mountain and the devil followed (KJV devil took him to the temple and mountain). JST Matt 4:1-2; Luke 4:2; Matt 4:5-9; Luke 4:5-9.
  9. Relationship between Jesus and the prophets - True prophets testify of Christ: JST John 10:8. Jesus acknowledges the correctness of the writings of the prophets: JST Matt 11:14 (KJV Matt 11:13a); 17:10, 14 (KJV Matt 17:11a); 24:56 (JS-M 1:55); 27:12 (KJV MATT 27:11a); the righteousness of their lives: JST Matt 13:16 (KJV Matt 13:17); 21:32; and the importance of their work: JST Matt 17:10-11; Luke 16:16-17. Rejecting prophets also rejects Christ: JST Matt 21:33-34 (KJV Matt 21:32). John the Baptist's cal to prepare the way and testify of Christ: JST Matt 3:34, 38-40; 21:32-34; John 5:35, 37. KJV: many prophets and righteous men; JST many righteous prophets: JST Matt 13:17. KJV: prophets continue until John; JST: prophets until John foretold of Christ: JST Luke 16:15-22 (KJV Luke 16:15-17); JST Matt 11:13.

Parables

  1. Use of Parables - JST strengthens that parables were used to hide truths from those unprepared to receive those truths, but were explained to the 12 and other believing disciples. JST Matt 13:9-11 (KJV Matt 13:11-12); JST Matt 21:34 (KJV Matt 21:33); JST Mark 4:9-10 (KJV Mark 4:10-11); JST Mark 4:20 (KJV Mark 4:25); JST Mark 4:26-27 (KJV Mark 4:33-34); See also Alma 12:9-11; 29:8; 3 Ne 19:35-36; 15:16-19; 16:4. Parables in D&C 38:25-27; 88:51-63; 101:43-62; 103:21. Why information is withheld: D&C 82:3; 1 Cor 3:1-2; Heb 5:12-14;
  2. Wicked Husbandmen - JST Matt 21:35-56 (KJV Matt 21:33-45). JST gives greater explanation of the parable, specifically that the stone falling upon men and grinding them to powder refers to the wicked at the second coming.
  3. The Green Tree and Dry Tree - JST Luke 23:31-32 (KJV Luke 23:31), for more context see Luke 23:28-31. JST tells us the Green Tree represents Israel which is scattered and then gathered again, while the Dry Tree represents the Gentiles who do not gather who are destroyed at His second coming.
  4. The Wheat and the Tares - JST Matt 13:22-29 (KJV Matt 13:24-30). Wheat is gathered first (Israel is gathered first) and then the Tares are burned (the wicked are burned at the second coming). Verse 40: Messengers of heaven could refer to mortals with a heavenly commission. Verse 42: Before the second coming verse 43: those who do iniquity (Tares) are removed from the kingdom and cast among the wicked, perhaps signifying excommunication. See also D&C 101:63-67.
  5. The Gospel Net - JST Matt 13:48-51 (KJV Matt 13:47-50) World = children of the wicked. Wicked are cast out into the world (excommunication).
  6. The Eagles Gather Together - JST Matt 24:28; Mark 13:30-31; Luke 17:34-40 (KJV JS-M 1:27; Mark 13=JS-M 1; Luke 17:37) Luke JST makes it clear that the body refers to the gathering of the saints (into stakes?) while tha angels gather the remaining saints unto them (the closest stake?).
  7. The Leafing-out of the Fig Tree - JST Matt 24:41-42; Mark 13:45-46 (JS-M 1:38-39) KJV "So Likewise ye, when ye shall see" -> JST "So likewise mine elect, when they shall see" the KJV implies that the second comiing will be shortly after His first coming while the JST implies it will be later. See also D&C 35:16; 45:36-38.
  8. The Watchful Servants; the Faithful Steward - JST Luke 12:39-44, 45-58 (KJV 12:36-38, 39-49) JST emphasizes the importance of keeping watch and being prepared for the Lord's second coming.
  9. The Ten Virgins; the Talents - JST Matt 25:1-12; 13-47 (KJV Matt 25:1-13; 14-46). JST v1 makes it clear that the parables are about the time just before the Savior's second coming. JST v13 links the parables together - they are about the same time period. See also D&C 45:56-57; 63:54.
  10. The Man Taking a Far Journey - The parable in Mark 13:34-37 is not included in the JST. As a note,
  11. The Son's Petition - JST Matt 7:16-17 (inserted between KJV Matt 7:8 & 9). Heavenly Father will be responsive to prayer.
  12. Building the Tower; the King Going to War - JST Luke 14:28-34 (KJV Luke 14:28-33). JST Emphasizes obedience and the importance of continued discipleship unto the end.
  13. The Shut Door - JST Luke 13:24-30 (KJV Luke 13:24-30). JST makes several clarifications.
  14. The Rich Man and Lazarus - JST Luke 16:24-36 (KJV Luke 16:19-31). The lead up to this parable (JST Luke 16:14-23 and KJV Luke 16:14-18). The Savior accuses the Pharisees of adultery, lack of belief in God, and preversion of the the right way. He also declares the parable is about the Pharisees who opposed Him.
  15. New Cloth on an Old Garment; New Wine in Old Bottles - JST Matt 9:18-23 (KJV Matt 18:16-17). JST provides the background that the parables are in response to the Pharisees wanting the baptism under the Mosaic Law to be accepted in the Savior's Church. Same doctrine is taught in D&C 22.
  16. The Good Samaritan - JST Lke 10:31-38 (KJV Luke 10:30-37). JST adds that they were worried about what others would think of them. JST also does not specify the amount of money given to the innkeeper.
  17. The Good Shepherd - JST John 10:1-18 (KJV John 10:1-18). JST clarifies that of those who lived before He did only those who did not testify of Him were thieves and robbers.
  18. The Lost Sheep - JST Luke 15:2-7 (KJV Luke 15:2-7). JST shows that the 99 are left safe (and not in the precarious wilderness) and the shepherd goes into the wilderness to find the lost sheep.

Miracles

  1. Devils and Evil Spirits - The JST affirms they do exist and were cast out. JST Mark 5:13 the people "saw the miracle" ... "how the devil was cast out" (see also JST Luke 8:37). JST Luke 11:15 (KJV Luke 11:14) the man was dumb. JST Mark 9:15 (KJV Mark 9:17) clarifies that the son was dumb because of the devil. See also JST Matt 12:20-23 (KJV Matt 12:24-28).
  2. Giving Sight to the Blind - KJV John 9:32 states that Jesus was the first to heal a blind man but JST John 9:32 clarifies that only those who of God had healed the blind.
  3. Stilling the Tempest - KJV Luke 8:23 says the boat was filling with water while JST Luke 8:23 says the disciples were filled with fear, shifting the focus from the boat to the disciples. The rebuke where is thy faith is referring to the disciples fear not the boat filling with water.

Doctrinal Topics

  1. Paul's teaching on marriage 1 Cor 7 - JST 1 Cor 7:1-2 states that the Corinthians wrote "It is good for a man not to touch a woman." KJV implies that this is the teaching of Paul. The "Nevertheless" in KJV implies that marriage is only there to avoid sin, while the JST the "Nevertheless" means You said that, nevertheless I say this. JST 1 Cor 7:5 Depart instead of Defraud is talking about temporary separation that is mutually agreed upon, the KJV is not clear what it means. JST 1 Cor 7:25-26, 29, 32-33 make it clear that Paul is talking about missionaries who are called to serve - that it is better for them not to be married - and that the time "is but short" which implies it is a temporary situation until the missionary service is completed. See also 1 Cor 11:11 and Heb 13:4.
  2. Paul's teaching about the power of Christ to change people's lives - JST Rom 7:14-27 (KJV Rom 7:14-25). KJV makes it seem that Paul is still struggling with major sins some 20 years after his conversion. The JST makes it clear that he committed sins while under the law (of Moses) before his conversion, but since his conversion Christ has changed him and given him the power to resist sin.
  3. Second set of Tablets received by Moses - JST Ex 34:1-2; Deut 10:1-2. KJV indicates that the Lord wrote the same thing upon the second set of tablets that He had written upon the first set. JST makes it clear that the second set did not contain the order and ordinances and covenants of the Holy Priesthood that prepare them to enter into His presence, rather the second set contained the Law of carnal commandments. The apostle John understood this, see JST John 1:17-18 (KJV John 1:17). Paul understood this as well, see JST Gal 3:19. The Savior taught that He was to fulfill the Law of Moses, see JST Luke 16:20 (KJV Luke 16:16a). DS: See also D&C 84:19-27 and the next item about baptism under the Law of Moses.
  4. Baptism under the Law of Moses - JST Matt 9:18 (KJV Matt 9:16a) indicates that the Pharisees practiced baptism and this would imply it was part of the Law of Moses. This also adds insight into the Savior's interaction with Nicodemus (John 3:1-10): the Savior is surprised that he does not understand that baptism is about being born again.
  5. The Doctrine of Elias - JST John 1:20-28; Matt 11:15; 71:9-14; (KJV John 1:19-27; Matt 11:14; 17:10-13). The JST makes it clear that the prophecies taught about an Elias that was a forerunner of the Messiah (John the Baptist) who would baptize with water and a second Elias that was a restorer of the gospel who would baptize with water and the Holy Ghost. The Savior restored the gospel for that dispensation and fulfilled the prophecy, and Joseph Smith was also a restorer of the gospel and fulfilled the prophecy again.
  6. Water baptism and the Holy Ghost - JST Matt 3:38 (KJV Matt 3:11) KJV uses "but" which tends to diminish the value of water baptism, JST uses "that" which teaches that water baptism is in preparation for baptism of the Holy Ghost.
  7. Elias at the Mount of Transfiguration - Elias in the New Testament is used to mean Elias and also to mean Elijah. We don't have a full account of the events that occurred on the Mount of Transfiguration (D&C 63:21). It appears that both Elijah and John the Baptist were present (JST Mark 9:3; KJV Mark 9:4), but we don't understand John the Baptist's role. DS: perhaps this is part of waht was not finished.
  8. The Unforgiveable Sin - JST Mark 3:22-24 (KJV Mark 2:28-29) occurs during a discussion about the Savior receiving sinners and emphasizes repentance leading to forgiveness and then adds that there is a sin which shall not be forgiven and they shall inherit (not just be in danger of) eternal damnation. JST Matt 12:36 (KJV Matt 12:31) occurs when He is accused of working by the power of Satan and emphasizes the need for repentance and that there is a sin that shall not be forgiven. JST Luke 12:9-12 (KJV Luke 12:9-10) occurs when Jesus is teaching the people and the disciples fear they have committed the unforgivable sin and Jesus calms their fears.
  9. Adam - JST teaches that Adam is the first man and head of the human family see JST Gen 2:8; 6:23; Luke 3:45 (KJV Gen 2:7; between 5:19 & 20; Luke 3:38).
  10. Blessings of Abraham available to all through adoption - JST Luke 3:13; Matt 3:36 (KJV Luke 3:8; Matt 3:9)
  11. "O ye of little faith" - JST changes to "if ye be not of little faith" JST Matt 6:34; Luke 12:30-31 (KJV Matt 6:30; Luke 12:28).
  12. The Spiritually Deaf and Blind - KJV Isa 42:18-21 says that the Lord's servants are spiritually deaf and blind and that the Lord is well pleased with them. JST Isa 42:18-22 make is clear that it is the people who are spiritually deaf and blind and they will be blessed if they listen to the Lord's servants who are sent to them. See also Isa 29:18 the book is the Book of Mormon and those who are spiritually deaf and blind will come to understand spiritual things through the words of the Book of Mormon.
  13. Joy come through repentance - KJV Ps 30:5 teach about joy, JST Ps 30:5 enplains that this joy comes because of repentance.
  14. Key of Knowledge - KJV Luke 11:52 says the lawyers have taken the key of knowledge from the people. JST Luke 11:53 explains the key of knowledge is the fullness of the scriptures. Apparently at some point in the past the lawyers withheld information from the scriptures.
  15. Seer - JST John 1:42 gives further information about Cephas, the Savior's name for Simon Peter, adding that it means seer.
  16. Sweat Blood - KJV Luke 22:44 "his sweat was as it were great drops of blood" JST Luke 22:44 "he sweat as it were great drops of blood" which makes sweat a verb - the action as a result of the Savior's agony. See also Mosiah 3:7 and D&C 19:18.
  17. Lot and his daughters - KJV Gen 19:8 says Lot offered his daughters to the men of Sodom. JST Gen 19:11-14 makes it clear that he did not offer his daughters to the men of Sodom.
  18. Additional Passages - JST Gen 1:32; Deut 14:21; Ex 22:18; 23:3; 1 Sam 16:14; 1 Kgs 3:14; 11:6; Prov 18:22; Rom 6:7; 1 Cor 10:24; 14:35; Eph 4:26; Heb 6:1; 1 Pet 4:8.

Noah, Melchizedek, and Joseph

Adam, Enoch, Abraham, and Moses have been mentioned in previous items. There is also much new information about Noah, Melchizedek, and Joseph.

Noah - The information given in the KJV is relatively accurate, but scant. The JST adds much to our understanding of Noah and his ministry.

  1. Enoch's vision of Noah - JST Gen 7:49-50 (Moses 7:42-43).
  2. Earth never to be covered with flood again - JST Gen 7:52, 57-58 (Moses 7:45, 50-52).
